DOG CATCHES A BURGLAR.
A man sentenced at Worcester recently to five years' penal servitude, was stated to have committed 50 robberies. A police witness said he was a vicious man, and in some cases left the gas burner on when leaving houses he robbed. A quantity of jewellery was found at his lodgings, some of which was identified as part of the proceeds of many robberies.
On December 16 ihe man,. Water, was found in enclosed premises in Worcestershire in the early morning and. on being questioned by a constable, he ran away.
