__—^_. . —_ (From bur own.co-respondent.) HARVEST THANKSGIVING. A harvest thanksgiving service was held in St. Thomas's Church on Sunday last. The church was prettily decorated with flowers, fruit and com. The preachei was the Rev. H. G< Hawkins. WEDDING. A wedding of much interest in Selwyn took place on Wednesday afternoon at the residence of Mr A. Rapley, the officiating .^lergyman being the Rev. J, S. Reid. The bride was Miss May Rapley, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Rapley, and the bridegroom Mr Harry Parris,both of Selwyn. After the ceremony the friends were entertained by ,„ Mf and Mrs Rapley at their residence, the couple leaving later '■ for Dunsandel by motor-car, where they entrained for Christ" Church on honeymoon bent.
