The match at Clyde on Saturday between the home team and Alexandra was robbed of all interest because of the failure of Clyde to field a full team. On the night before the match seventeen players were available, but for various reasons seven of them failed to turn up. The result was that the Clyde team comprised only ten men, but well on in the game two others went on. That Alexandra won by 36 to nil is not surprising. Mr F. Donnelly was a good referee. On Saturday afternoon Bannockburn beat Wanaka 11 to 6. 1 arras beat Cromwell 3 to 0.
