Mr and Mrs W. M. Lopdell and Miss Lopdell have been visiting Dunedin. Mr and Mrs K. A. Haggitt, accompanied by Miss Patterson, Arrowtown, were visitors to Clyde last week. Miss Lorna Annan bias been spending a holiday with her parents, at Clyde, Mr L. Stevens, of the local Post Office staff is on annual leave. Accompanied by Mrs Stevens he is holidaying in Dunedin and Gore. Miss Ena Savile will return to Clyde to-day after spending a brief holiday in the city. Miss Hazel Wood, Clyde, is spending a holiday as the guest of Miss J. Harley, St Bathans. Mr Ri Reeves, of Milton, is at .present on the staff of the local post office as a relieving officer. Miss Eva McElroy &Mr & Mrs J. A. Hanning returned from Dunedin on Thursday last. "Mrs J. McGinnis, Earnscleugh, is visiting Invercargill. After presiding at the district Court Mr Dixon S M. returned to Dunedin on Saturday, Prior to his departure to England Mr Bodkin M.P. is to be entertained at a social at Alexandra on Wednesday night. Miss Boulton has returned to Dunedin after spending a holiday in Clyde as a guest at the Vicarage. Rev. Father Spillane, who has been a member of the Omakau community for some ten years and who is immensely popular with everyone, has accepted a call to Palraerstcn. Father Tylee, of Gore, will succeed him. Dr Brokenshire left Clyde on Saturday for the West Coast where he will act as locum tenens for a period. Mrs J. Clouston and Miss J. Clouston, have returned to their home at Lauder, after spending a holiday in the North Island. Colonel Falconer and Mr Ferens (president and secretary of the R. S. A., Dunedin) were visitors to Clyde on Saturday.
