HOCKEY
Two matches were played at Grom well on Saturday Clyde meeting the Club and Alexandra High the Cromwell High.
The Clyde team was far too good for their opponents, particularly in the second spell wnon they showed great pace and line combination- Ihe score was 12 goals to nil in Clyde’s favaur. The scorers were H- Keddell 6, M. Gye 5 and I) Attlield !• Mrs Caterer and Mr Gillespie were referees- ,
The Alexandra High after an inter estinggame, beat the Cromwell High by 3 to 0. On Saturday St Bathans beat Lauder 3 to nil and Matakanui beat Pool burn but the score was not available.
Matakanui and Lauder are tu jilay a Cup match on Friday at the latter place. Nevt Saturday Cromwell High School come to Clyde.
