The Omakau exchange has now 38 subscribers, and it is hoped to considerably increase these- With the laudable desire to extend the service from 7 a o m. to t) ]> m. it is hoped to get Lauder to link-up with Omakau, and to this end a meeting is to be held at Lauder at 2 p m on Wednesday, when the telegraph engineer will be present- It is hoped that a bumper meeting will result.
