PERSONAL.

Prior to their departure from Clyde Mr and Mrs H. J. Partridge were entertained at a farewell evening at the residence of Mr and Mrs Bould, when a very jolly evening was spent. The guests were the recipients of a wallet of money as a tangible token of esteem and goodwill, In making the presentation Mr Bould, on behalf of the residents expressed keen regret at the deparure of Mr and Mrs Partridge and family and wished them health and happiness in their new home at Dunebin.

A very sad death oecured in the Dunstan Hospital on Friday last when a lad of some 13 years of age a son of Mr and Mrs Bert Parsons of Alexandra passed away. Much sympathy is felt for the parents in their sad loss-

Old Central folk will learn with extreme regret of the death which took place at Oamaru recently of Mrs T. Wilson an old resident of Clyde, and mother of Mr Ralph Wilson.
