A rink from Alexandra (Pratt, H Ilesson, McDonald and A Richards) had a shot at Miller, McGione, Davidson and Bringans, (ho holders of the Jolly Memorial, on Friday. Clyde won by 25 to 10, but the score is no indication of the game. As a nnUier of fact it was a good, even game lor 15 heads The standard of bowling was of a high order. The next challenge is set down lor Wednesday when a Cromwell ■ rink (Joll.y 3 and Shore) will have a go. The centre match Cromwell v Clyde played at the latter place on Saturday was marred by a strongy, gusty wind which made j;ood play impossible.
