The annual meeting of delegates to the above body, held at Clyde on Saturday was attended by Messrs C. E Graham and D. George (Roxburgh), A. R. Lawry and VV. Hewitt (Alexandra), Dr Shore and C. Smart (Crom well), P. Miller and W, Sutherland (Clyde) Corson and D. Ritchie (Bannockburn) and J. S. Smart (secretary). The annual report and balance-sheet for the past season, showing a credit balance of £2 18. 11, were read and adopted, delegates expressing satisfaction with the results of the season's operations. It was unanimously decided to recommend the application of the Ranfurly Club for affiliation to the Dominion Association for its approval. The secretary reported having received from Mr A. Peters, retiring president of the Dunedin Centre, a gold medal to be competed for as the Centre thought fit. The awarding of the medal was left in the hands of the incomiug executive. A remit from the Cromwell club— That the winning championship rink have the option of representing the Centre," was passed in the following amended form " That the representative rinks be selected from the champion rinks as selected by the club selectors and substitutes for those players unavoidably prevented from taking part in the champion rinks tournament," The Alexandra Club's green was made the official green for the season. A motion —That if in any year the official green be not fit for play for anyparticular match, the Executive have power to choose another green was agreed to, with the proviso that notice of motion be given to have this incorporated in the constitution at the next annual meeting.
The levy was fixed at is 6d per member with a reduced rate of is for those clubs not competing in the Shield competition. Mr A. R. Lawry was elected president for the ensuing season. Mr J. S. Smart secretary and treasurer; executive. Messrs Lawry, Miller, Sutherland Shore and J. S. Smart ; auditor Mr R. M. Ray. _
