(By Telegraph) REILLY'S CENTRAL PBODUCE MART. LTD., report At the moment there is an exceptionally keen demand for Lettuce spring onions, rhubarb, spring cab bage, cauliflowers and cucumbers. Buyers are eagerly awaiting consignments of asparagus. The fortunate consignor who can forward early tomatoes will receive phenomenal prices. Full supplies of Citrus fruits are due to arrive this week. We have advice of 1.600 cases consigned to our care. Consignments of apples are equal to the demand. We received 150 choice Doughertys from Hastings which realised 16s per case. Poultry are short of requirements. Californian onions are getting into short compass. Honey is slow of sale.
