Stronaeh, Morris & Co, Dunediu report for the week ending Sept 20th as follows Oats—There is slightly better enquiry for A Gartonß, inferior quality is however dull of sale. A Cartons 2s 4d to 2s sd; Good to best feed 2s 2d to 2s 3d, Sacks extra. Wheat- It is very difficult to place milling lines at present, as Millers are not keen to buy meantime. Fowl "Wheat is in full supply, and the demand is confined to good quality which meets with fair sale. Potatoes— Light consignments have been coming to hand and there is a keen enquiry for Prime freshly picked lines, inferior is dull of sale. Prima Tables £6 to £6 5 infeiior quality from £4 up. Chaff- Prime oaten sheaf £4 5s £4 15; Cood to best £3 15 to £4; Inferior qual ity£2. up. . Fat Cattle— A large yarding 2oi being panned, consisting of fair quality. Competition was fair but prices were easier all round about £ I a bead on last week's rates. Extra Prime heavy bullocks to £l6 prime £l2 to £l3 10s, Medium £lO to £ll, Light from £0 up. Prime cows and heifers £9 10s, medium £5 to £$ losFat Sheep— There was a full yarding, Extra Prime wethers 3«s fid ; Prime 28s to 325; Medium 22s to 245; Light from ISs upwards. Best ewes to 27h.
