GOLF.
Nine members of the Clyde Club visited Alexandra on Saturday when they had a most enjoyable match, which the home » team won by two. The links are very interesting- Situated as they are well up among the rocks, anything like decent links would seem impossible, but there they are and quite a good course tooThere is any amount of trouble waiting for the bad player, but neither are there any great difficulties providing one plays reasonably decent golf- Before departing President Bloy thanked the home team and the ladies for providing such a splendid afternoon, and for their unbounded hospitality. Mr Jack O’Kane in reply, expressed his club’s pleasure at the visit which every body had «o much enjoyed.
