KEILLY GILL & COY., report for the week ending Tuesday, July 24th The market has bean well supplied with all lines ot fruit and produce, and quite a record number of opossum skins came forward for our sale on Wednesday last, good prices being secured. Eggs are meeting a steady demand. Butter is also in request. The shipment of Island fruit, both oranges and bananas, reached us in very bad condition, our bananas being particularly bad, over ripe and rotten, and quite a number of the oranges were in very bad order. Our apples and pears from Hobart came forward to a good market, but the pears unfortunately were in a very bad condition. We give below the actual prices secured for our consignors. Am.ES,—Jelly 8s per cwt, cooking 2d 2sd, dessert 2sd, 3d, per lb. Oranges We quote choice quality at 10s 6d per case. Rarotongan Bananas—3|d per lb. Messina Lemons—l2s 6d. Ginger—Bd per lb. Spray pumps—The best and cheapest spray pump in the market. Billen’s Little Wonder, 20s to 50s each. Barrel Pump (the Celebrated Conqueror) is considered by the Tasmanian Orchardists to be the best and cheapest barrel pump on the market.
