DREDGING RETURNS.

STINGY WHEN WRITING. It is a strange fact that most women ara uggardly with their stationery. They maj ,'iitertain their friends sumptuously, ana ivear the costliest raiment. They may even jo extravagant in other respects, but in tha natter of stationery they are absolutely stingy, and will cross and recross their pages rather than use another sheet of note-paper.
