Sir, Allow me through the medium of your valuable paper to draw the attention of the authorities to the state of the race, that conveys the water to the residents at the lower end of the township. During the heavy frosts these residents had to drink the water, which on being examined was found to be contaminated with filth of every description. Surety, Sir, something should be done to insure the health of the general public, as at present people are laying themselves open to the ravages of some terrible disease.
