oMonday, December 17th, 1576. (Before His Honor George William Harvey, Judge.) Application by Mr Oram Ball, liquidator of the Hew Zealand Sub-marine Gold Mining Company for an order to settle the list of contributories. Mr H. Howorth, assisted by Mr F. J. Wilson, appeared f. r the liquidator. -Mr Oram Ball was also present. Mr Howorth having read the affidavit of MiBall, and stated that the whole of the preliminaries of advertising, etc., had been complied with, applied for an order to call up the full amount due on each share, L2 7s fed. Mr Howorth said the debts of the company were about LISOO, and that the L2 7s fed per share from the living and solvent shareholders would cover the amount due. He further explained that Mr Villaine, the largest shareholder, was dead, and the next largest, Mr Nuttall, was in California, therefore nothing could be obtained from them, others of the shnreholdi rs were dead, and some insolvent, therefore it necessitated the amount as stated from the solvent shareholders to meet the liabilities. Hone of the shareholders being present to oppose, His Honor said he would settle the list as proposed, and order each contributor to'pay the respective amounts as set opposite their names.
