Proprietary Company's Meeting. No Dividend. United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph — Copyright. (Received July 27, 9.58 a.m.) Melbourne, This day. At the half-yearly meeting of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company it was stated that the net profit was £87,600, while £120,000, bad been distributed in dividends. The chairman stated that the directors did not consider it desirable at present to declare a dividend, but at next quarterly meeting they would be in a better position to judge of the possibilities of the future and would act accordingly.
