(Received Dec. 9,4.45 p.m.) London. Dec. 8. Commandant De Wet has moved east-north-east from Odendaal. MajorGeneral Knox, who was following,
captured a Krupp waggon and ammunition. (Received Dec. 10, 12.21 a.m.) Failing to force Commissie bridge, Orange River, where the British were posted, De Wet trekked north-east. He abandoned 500 horses and many carts. He is hard pressed on all sides.
