The leading in Napier at noon was 63 in the shade. Messrs Wen ley and Lanauze report that they held a successful clearance sale of Mr D. Joll's dairy stock yesterday. There was a good attendance, and the following prices were realised : —Cows in profit from £4 5s to £7 10s, springers from £4 12s 6d to £6 10s, heifers in calf 'from £2 2s 6d to £5, bull £5 ss, Berkshire sow with four young 30s, ditto in pig 27s 6d, Berkshire boar 255. Tbe firm hold their next stock sale at Stortford Lodge on Tuesday next, 14th inst.
