The College Boys Win the President's Cup.

[PER FBKSS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, This day. In a seven-aside tournament for the cup of the president cf the Nelson Rugby Union (Mr W. S. Littlejohn, who is als=o president of the N.Z.R.U.), the Nelson College team beat the Nelson Club in the final round by 20 points to 8. The principal scorers for the College were Moyes and C. Hamilton (two tries each), j*. Fell played a splendid game, and did magnificent place kicking, converting the whole of the College tries. Ihe College played a remarkably fleet and scientific game. The win was very popular, as the College defeated the winners of the senior cup, the Rival Club. Every member of the College team was cheered and cheered again, and. carried off the field amid tremen'dous,and unparalleled enthusiasm. Ihe boys get a holiday at the college for their splendid 3« in.
