Dr. Williams, of Fitzroy, injected supposed cocaine into a patient, Mrs Turner, afterwards following the usual habit of injecting into his own arm. The doctor collapsed while driving home, and died in a few hours. Mrs Turner is in a critical condition. It has been discovered that a chemist's assistant supplied Dr. Williams with atropine (a deadly poison) instead of cocaine.
