EASTINGS TRAINING NOTES.

[OWN OOBBE-PONDSH-.l This morning's work was somewhat interesting on the plough gallop. To see all the gallops one has to be up on the course at daylight. Douglas and Golden Plover w.rked before 1 got there, as did also Torpina, and Donald MoKinnon. Rhino put in a couple of rounds at top, and finished up very strongly. This horse is improving considerably. Aphony skipped over six furlongs in good time, finishing well daphne ran onoe round with a light weight up. The Forerunner mare ia looking very nioe now. i'iotol Grip galloped the last of two rounds in his usual swinging style. Tire and Daphne's half-sister were associated together onoo routid at three-quarter pace. Dottreil, Scotia, and Te Hapuku jumped away ot the six furlong post, the first named having tho best of the go. Viotoria Cross oantered on the course proper. 'iirant d' Eaa and Wakolyn gallopod one and a-quarter miles, the first name, having a lot the beet of it. Te Hgaehe, with a light weight up, ran two oircuits at a good three-quarter paoe. Babarosa put in a sound onoo round, Catoombu and _c Dude were sent once round, finishing together. Abe others out doing useful work were Aorere, Great Britain, The Monk, Girofla, Nevermore, and Mutiny. Yesterday T. Quinlivan left for Woodvilie with fctraj bird and Te Ore. Bank also left with Progress.
