It is understood that Mr Wichmann, acting on behalf of the foreign syndicate who purpose commencing operations on the : Auckland goldfields, has now completed the organisation of the business of his company in New Zealand. Mr Gordon has been appointed general manager and Mr Pork consulting mining engineer Mr Wichmann has appointed'a oouncil of advioo, the members of which, white in no way concerned in the management of the company, will ezprees their opinion and advise when called upon Mr Gordon will be chairman oi the oouuoil. The Hon. B. J. Seddon and Messrs A. G. Horton and T. L. Murray (by consent ef the Wellington Board of the Bank of New Zealand) have agreed to join.
