VERDICT OP WILFUL MURDER. [per mess association. J Invkbcaeqill, This day. At the inquest on Eva Hornfjby to-day tho modical evidence was to the effect that death was caused by asphyxia. There wore two marks on either side of the skull, which might have been caused by pressure of the finger and thumb. '«ho organs were those of a healthy child. Tho appearances were not inconsistent with suflooation by external moans. The Grown Prosecutor stated tho organs wero sent to Professor Blaok, but no indication of poison was found. The jury, after an hour's retirement, returned a verdict that in their opinion the child was wilfully murdered.
