Further disturbances have occurred at the Co-operativo Mine. The tributers were again maltreated, despite a police escort, and two ringleaders of the rioters were arrested.

A Labor member drew the attention of the House last night to the action of the police, alleging that batons were freely used on the women and children, as well as the men. Sir G. B. Dibbs, in reply, said that the Labor members did their utmost to harass the operations of the police while attempting to preserve the peace. He deolared that law and order should be maintained at all costs.
