GUN CLUB.
The H.B. Gun Club's meeting at Farndon Park yesterday was well attended, and the sport was excellent. Mr W. Beamish (29yds) won the president's (Mr J. P. Hamlin) trophy, killing six birds out of seven, J. F. Macandrew (26yde), J. Dove (23yds), E. Broughton (26yds), and M. Mason (24yds) killed five birds each in the first match. The aecond match, the Spring Handicap, was won by Mr W. Broughton (25yda), killing eight birds out of nine, and securing the prize of £20 ; Mr W. Beamish (29yds) second prize, £7, seven birds ; Mr G. Peat (25yds) third, £3, six birds. The third match was won by Mr F. E. Goddam (24yda) killing five birds; Mr H. L. Jull (25yds) four birds.
