CRICKET.
■ On Saturday last the final cup match between'the Napier and Hawke*s Bay County Cricket Clubs took place at Hastings, and resulted in a win for the County by four runs. The Napier men, however, batted two men short in each innings, and the County one man short in the first innings. The County knocked up 50 in their first innings, Loughnan and E. H.Williams being top scorers with 10 each. Napier made 37 in their first innings, J. Martin 10 (not out) and George White 10, being the highest scorers. The County made 51 iv their second innings, Fraser making 14. Tbe Napier Club wanted 64 runs tc win, but only succeeded in making 59 The highest scorers were Wolstenholme (20), -\eo. White (15), Percy (13) The County Club consequently won thi match.
