TOWN EDITION.
A man named Bean, employed by Messrs. Galloway and Nivon as a moulder, had his leg broken yesterday afternoon by a casting falUng on it. The man was taken to the hospital, and _ progressing favorably.
After the jury had been empannelled this afternoon in the illegally pawning .case, jurors in waiting were discharged for the session, and they may obtain payment by calliug at the Registrar's offico.
In the case of iUegally pawning this afternoon seven jurymen were ohaUenged by the Crown solicitor, and six by the prisoner. Ten jurymen had only been empannelled, and the Registrar intimated to His Honor that tho panel was exhausted. His Honor considered this was strange, but the Registrar explained that twelve jurymen who had just previously sat in the Kyle case had been excused. Two jurymen, who had been challenged, were called again, and not being challenged a second time, completed the number, and the case proceeded.
