Petane-Puketapu road.—The authorised erection of a culvert bridge aoross this road at Wairorti is completed. Painting the Clive Grange bridgo is completed. Owing to the amount of damage done to country roads during the late wet weather and ulso the authorised work in hand, I am unable to make any reduction in' the surface stafi. JonN Tracy, Road Overseer. —Adopted and recommendation approved. The Chairman said tho handrails of the Omuhu bridge wanted attention, and the Riseington bridge needed tarring.—The Overseer was instructed to tar both bridges and repair the Omahu bridge rails. Mr Birch thought more than one man was needed on the Kutipapauga road.—The Chairman said the matter would be attended to. ACCOUNTS. Vouchers to tho amount of £372 6s 5d were passed for payment, leaving tha account overdrawn £394 12a. Tho Council then adjourned.
