SPORTING.
To-day's betting on the Jookey Club races is as follows : —For the Cup Sextant is at. .3 to 2, Cruchfield 3 to 1, Pearl and Salisbury, 4 to 1, Beresford 5 to 1, Rivulet T to 1, Tongariro and St. Clair 10 to 1. The double of Cup and Railway Slakes ranges from 10 to 1 to 50 to 1. For tho Hawke's Bay and Napier Cups 60 to 6 is offered.
Her Ladyship and Forest.rare soratched for all engagements at the Jockey Club's mooting.
In the weights for the Sydney Cup, cabled from Sydney, which appear iv another column, half tho horses are altgether left out.
