IRISH CRIMES BILL.
ACCELERATION OF BUSINESS..•:

In the House of Commons last uisrhh tho discussion on the Irish Crimes Bill was resumed. In the course of the debate Mr Smith, First Lord of the Treasury, stated it was possible that the Government would introduce measures for accelerating business in connection with the bill, but expressed a hope that this would not bo necessary. Sir William Vernon Harcourt made a proposal, which was endorsed by Mr Parncll, to the effect that the House should only discuss serious amendments to the third clause of the bill. The proposal was adopted without amendment.
