The New Zealand Loan, and Uercantflo Agency Company have received tho following cable messago from their London office, datod the 25th instant:—" "Wool—The sales opened at an average advance of 7£ por cent, on last sales closing rates. Competition by both Homo and foreign buyers is aotive, and tho attendance of both Home and foroign buyers is good. The opening catalogue contained 7500 bales, but was not a reprosentative one. Tho sales, compriso about 223,000 bales; 45,000 bates have been sent to tho manufacturing districts direct. Tallow—Arrivals are not equal to trade requirements. Good mutton is worth 28s per cwt. and good beef 24s 6d. Tho prospeots of fho market aro good."
