November. . 19—Wairoa, s.s., from Whakaki and Wairoa.

November. 14—Kahu, s.s., for Wangawhei, Gisborne, and Waipiro. 19—Weka, s.s., for Blackhead.
The s.s. Wairoa, Captain H. Andersen, returned to port last night from Wairoa and Whakaki, bringing a load of wool from the latter place. The s.s. Kahu, Captain Romerill, steamed last night for Wangawehi, Gisborne, and Waipiro. The s.s. Weka, Captain Petersen, steamed for Blackhead last night. The Union Company's s.s. Australia was duo here early this morning, but did not turn up, and it was ascertained from Gisborne that she had not reached there till midnight and was to leave for here at 11 o'clock this morning. She should arrive here about 7 o'clock this evening, and will be despatched for Wellington at 12.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera left Auckland at noon yesterday, and will leave Gisborne this afternoon. She is due here early to-morrow morning, and will proceed to Southern ports in the afternoon. Tho last launch leaves the wharf at 2 p.m. The same company's s.s. Wairarapa is leaving Wellington this afternoon, and should arrive here to-morrow morning. She goes on in the evening to Sydney via Northern ports, the last launch leaving the ■wharf at 5 p.m. The schooner Dunedin left Timaru on Wednesday night, and should arrive here in a day or two. The Wairoa pilot reports bad bar (shallow).
