November 6. Tho rumors of an anti-German agitation at Manila have been officially denied. Mr Stead, editor of the Pall Mall Gazotte, contends that the passing of an Act by tho Parliament of South Australia for the protection of females is tho result of tho publication of tho Lily Armstrong story. Tho frozen meat by the Garonne is selling at Id per lb. The various dock havo reduced their charges on frozen meat.
