Tho weekly returns of tho Bank of England, published to-day, givo tho proportion of tho reserve to tho liabilities at 39 per cent., tho samo as last week. Tho total rosorvo in notes and bullion is £11,300,000, or £600,000 below last week. Sydney, Novomber 6. New Zealand wheat, firm, 3s ; New Zealand oats, 2s 2d, market glutted; maize, 3s 7d; Sugar Company's No. 1, £20.
