To tho Editor: Sir,—From your last night's issue it Avould appear that recruits for St. John's choir aro required. Our AAjorthy choir master must havo had a lively time of it for the past three years endeavoring to knock time and tune into "unsympathetic souls," and then to find the young Turks desert the ranks after all I fear (if past results are any criterion) that it Avill be some time beforo Aye are likely to have good music, unless the committee of management can see their way to induce return of those cultivated female voices. Meantime, tho new boys and the balance of the old boys might practice by themselves for a few y-ears in a nice quiet place, and then trot them out if their voices don't crack in the meantime. —I am, Sec, Music.
