Consols remain at 100 J, and New Zealand securities as folloAV.s :—Five per cent. 10-10 loan, 104-}; fivo per cent. 1889 loan, 101 i-; four anef a half per cent. 1879-1004 loan, 9S£ ; four per cent, inscribed stock, 101. The market rate of discount has fallen to to IJ, and is now three-eighths beloAV the bank rate. At the wool sale to-day 11,600 bales were catalogued. Tho market continues firm.
