Messrs Banner and Liddle hold an unreserved sale of the furniture and effects of Mr A. B. Thomson on the premises, Milton Terrace, at 11 a.m. A coach leaves Messrs Banner and Liddle's office at 10..'10 a.m. to convey intending purchasers to the sale free of charge. Mr Margoliouth offers by auction at 2 p.m. to-morrow, at the Taradalo Nursery, the Avhole of Messrs Gilberd and Anderson's unsold portion of their nursery selling stock. A coach leaves Newton's corner at 1 p.m., returning at the close of the sale. Tenders for the erection of a dray bridge over the Waihua river, on tho Wairoa - Mohaka road, will be received at the office of flic Wairoa County Council tip to 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Napier Hospital was released from quarantine to-day, but the quarantine re-

strictions at the quarantine station remain as before. Mr Lyndon -will submit the unsold portion of the effects of the late J.M. Girdlestone to auction on Friday, as well as a quantity of other goods.
