MAILS CLOSE For the Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, via San Francisco, on Saturday, 29th instant, at noon. This mail will be due in London on the 10th May. The lonic is nppointed to leave Lyttelton about the 27th instant for London, via Rio de Janiero and Plymouth. She is expected to occupy 40 to '13 days on tho passage. She will be followed by the Buapehu from and for the same ports about the 31st instant, occupying about 38 days on passage. The Waipara leaves Hokitika for Akarito on the 2Gth instant, and for Jackson's Bay and intermediate porta on the Bth proximo. J. Grubb, Chief Postmaster.
