TREPANNING A BOY'S SKULL.

Tho boy McCurdy, who was injured by tho kick of a horse, is not expected to recover. He is suffering from a comminuted fracture of tho skull. Trepauning was found necessary, and the operation was performed by tho hospital surgeon, Dr. Mandale, assisted by Dr. lianan, and several pieces of bone were removed from the brain. The sufferer is unconscious, and his right side is paralysed.
