FIRST STEAMER ALONGSIDE TARANAKI BREAKWATER.
New Plymouth, This day.
The Wanaka, the first Union Company's steamer that has gone alongside the breakwater, discharged cargo and embarked passengers there on Saturday. • She had more than four feet of water under her. Captain Neville expressed himself pleased with the convenience for berthage afforded.
