The s.B. Rotomahana, Capfc. Underwood, arrived in the roadstead at 8.30 a.m. yesterday from Melbourne via Southern ports and "Wellington. The Boojum attended for passengers and mails, and the ketch Admiral for ciirgo, which consisted of some 80 tons. TJie following is a report of her passage, Kindly furnished by Mr Chswles U. Hudson, her purser:—left "Melbourne on the Bth, called at Hobart on the 9th, arrived at the Bluff on-the 12th, called at Port Chalmers on the 13th, Lyttelfon on the 15th, and "WeUingfoa on the 16th, sailing thence for Napier at 6 p.m. and arriving as above. Tine weather throughout the passage. The outward passengers were taken off shortly after , 4 o'clock, the Kolomahana proceeding en her passage for Poverty Bay and Auckland at 5 o'clock. .When out by the Pania reef the ship was swung for the purpose of adjusting her compasses. The steamer Sir Donald returned from Fairy Bay on. Saturday night, with a big cargo of wool. She will be leaving again tonight for Blnckhead. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, returned from Wairoa early on Sunday afternoon. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Oapt. Lindfors, arrived in the roadstead from Newcastle, N.S.W., yesterday morning, and was sailed inside and berthed at the breastwork by the pilot at 7 o'clock last night. She has commenced to discharge her cargo of coal to-day, which is consiged to Messrs Charles Dolbel and Co. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross took in a cargo of cattle on Saturday afternoon shipped by Messrs Miller and Potts, and sailed for Dnnedin direct in the evening. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. Doile, which left Wellington on Saturday night at o'clock, arrived in the roadste"ad at 12 o'clock last night, and was. berthed inside at 9 o'clock this morning. She brings about 150 tons of cargo-, partly transhipped out of the Orari, about 70 tons consisting of bar iron. She will get away again for Wellingthe at 9 o'clock to-nieht. The s.s. Fairy left for Blackhead last evening for woof. Th« Union Company's s.s. Omapere is to leave Wellington at 2 o'clock to-day, probably arriving here at about the same time tomonow. She has 90 tons of cargo for this port, which will be discharged inside, besides some 350 sheep. She is announced to leave for G-isborne, Tauranga, and Auckland at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon. The steamer Maori left for Arapawanui at an early hour this morning, and returned to the roadstead with a load of wool at noon to-day. The s.s. Arawata, which left here on Saturday at 1 o'clock, arrived at Wellington at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. The Union Company's s.s. Rotorua is expected to leave Wellington for here tomorrow afternoon, and is due on "Wednesday morning.
