INVERCARGILL.
November 21
At the close of the service in St. Columbkille's Church, Riverton, on Sunday, Bishop Moran received an address of welcome from the Catholics of that portion of the diocese. In replying the Bishop referred to the condition of Italy under foreign government, and expressed his conviction that the anticipations formed as to the Pope's restoration to his rights as temporal sovereign would be realised at no distant date.
