ALEXANDRIA.
October 7. A revival of fanaticism has been manifest at Tantab, one of the towns recently evacuated by the British, and at several other places in the interior. It is feared that further outrages may be perpetrated, and the Egyptian Notables are petitioning for the retention of the forces.
