BALCLUTHA.
September 25. A stable belonging to Mr James Bell, a settler at Inch Clutha, was burned early on Sunday morning. A large quantity of harness and farm implements were destroyed, and also four horses valued at £185. The total loss is estimated at upwards of £300. There is no insurance, and the origin of the fire is unknown.
