The steamer Kiwi did not leave Wellington nntil last night, and is not now expected to put in an appearance before Monday morning. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Ringarooma, ("apt. Edie, left Wellington at 8.15 p.m. yesterday, and may be looked for here by about 3 o'clock this afternoon. The outward passengers are to be taken off tonight at 8 o'clock, the steamer having a large cargo on board for here, which made the chances of her getting away before that hour ■mall.
The new steamer Omapere is to leave Wellington afc 2 o'clock this afternoon, and will arrive hero to-morrow. She brings about 100 tons of cargo, which will be landed at the breastwork on Monday, and afc 4 o'clock that afternoon is announced to leave for Northern ports.
