Australians t. South of England. (Bt Cable.) London, September 2. The cricket match between the Australian team and the United Eleven postponed from yesterday on account of heavy rain falling was resumed at Tunbridge Wells to-day. The number of spectators was again very large. The visitors, wanting three wickets to fall and with 131 runs to their credit, continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 180. The principal scorer during the day was Bpnnor, who was bowled for 45. The home team then commenced their second innings, and were all disposed of for 126 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, but only put together 49. The Englishmen bowled splendidly. Play was stopped when tbe Australians second innings closed, tbe match thus being drawn.
