fBY CABLE ] London, December 22. Consols have advanced to 99f. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £11,251,000. The bank rate of discount remains at 5 per cent., and the market rate at. sf. New Zealand securities are unchanged at the following quotations : —Five per cent. 10-40 loan, 104 ; five per cent. 1889 loan, 104; four and a half per cent. 1879-1904 loan, lOlf. Adelaide wheat, ex-warehouse, remains at 565, and NbW Zealand ditto at 52a ; Adelaide flour, ex-store, 41s 6d. Australian tallow, best beef 39s 6d, and best mutton 44s 6d. Melbourne, December 23. New Zealand oats are very depressed ; feeding are quoted at 2s lid, and milling sorts at 3s Id. Adelaide, December 23. Wheat, per bushel, 4s Bd. Town flour, per ton, £11 5s ; country brands, £1010s. Freights to the United Kingdom, from Adelaide 52s Gel, and ditto from theoutports 655.
