The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, Capt. Thomas Underwood, arrived in the roadstead at an early hour this morning from Gisborne and Auckland. Mie was tendered shortly after arrival by the Boojum for mails and passengers, and by the Icetch Three Brothers for cargo, some 20 tons. The outward passpngers were taken off shortly after 11 o'clock, and the steamer resumed her voyage for Southern poits, Hobart, and Melbourne, at 12 30 p.m., taking a quantity of wool, hides, pelts, and general cargo. The stenmer Kiwi, Capt. Jas. Campbell, left for Wellington via coastal stations at 8.30 p.m. yesterday. The steamer Maori, Capt. H. Anderson, returned from Mohaka at 10 o'clock last night, with several passengers, and 34 bale 3 of wool. The brigantine Endeavor, Capt. J*. Dick, was brought inside and berthed outside the Silver Cloud at the breastwork this morning. The schooner Mary Wadley, Capt. Lindfors, cleared at the Customs in ballast for Westport this morning. The s.s. Fairy is on Northe's slip, being oveihatded and painted. The Union Company's s.s. Rotorua, Capt. J. Tozer, is to leave Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon, and will arrive here tomorrow morning. Mie brings about 70 ton 9 of cargo, which will bo lightered by tbe ketch Admiral.
The Botomahana's cargo is being discharged by the Three Brothers this afternoon.
The s.s. Sir Donald leaves for Eairy Bay to-morrow night.
The p.s. Manaia was hauled down to the cattle wharf yesterday afternoon, and will go out at 4 o'clock this afternoon for her trial trip in the Buy. She is advertised to leave far Wairoa at 9 o'olock on Monday morning. (BY CABLE.) Sydney, December 23. Arrived, this morning, Union Company's steamship Hero from New Zealand. December 24. Sailed, this afternoon, steamship Wakatipu, for Wellington.
