The relations between the Austrian and Roumanian Governments are at the present time much strained over the question of the navigation of the Danube. The Austrian Government has in the meantime suspended all diplomatic communication with the Roumanian Principality until Count Kalmoky, the new Austrian Premier, has examined into the points in dispute between the two countries.
